Cookie Policy

Last updated: 19 April 2026

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners.

Cirrova does not set any first-party tracking or advertising cookies. The cookies described below fall into three categories: those required for the application to function, those set by our analytics provider, and those set by our bot-protection provider.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the application to operate and cannot be disabled.

Our application is built on ASP.NET Core, which sets the following cookies automatically:

Cookie Purpose Duration
.AspNetCore.Session Maintains your server-side session while you are signed in. Session
.AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* Protects forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks. Session
.AspNetCore.Cookies Stores your authentication token after you sign in. Session or sliding expiry

These cookies contain no personal data beyond what is necessary to identify your authenticated session, and they are never shared with third parties.

3. Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics (GA4) on our marketing website (cirrova.io) to understand how visitors find and use the site. We do not use analytics inside the application.

Cookie Purpose Duration
_ga Distinguishes unique visitors. 2 years
_ga_* Maintains session state for GA4. 2 years
_gid Distinguishes visitors across a 24-hour window. 24 hours

Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised. We do not use it to identify individuals, and it is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes. This processing is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Bot protection

We use Cloudflare Turnstile on certain forms to distinguish human visitors from automated bots. Turnstile is a privacy-preserving alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs and is designed to minimise data collection.

Turnstile may set short-lived cookies or use browser storage as part of its challenge process. Any such storage is session-scoped and is not used for tracking or advertising.

This processing is carried out by Cloudflare, Inc. and is subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

5. Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. The links below explain how to do this in common browsers:

Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the application from functioning correctly. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your access to any features.

To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
